Dearmon-Bolton left Waynesboro, Mississippi on May 1, 2015, with the Delta Carnival Service but did not contact her family until months later. She called her mother and stated that she left Delta Carnival and was headed to California with a different carnival. In August 2015, Dearmon-Bolton texted her brother saying she was stranded in Venice, California, and requested money for a bus. He asked her to call him but she never did. Later, her sister received a message from someone in Venice, California with a picture showing Dearmon-Bolton dancing in a carnival show and club/bar. The person who sent the photo said Dearmon-Bolton was living on the street and beach.
Dearmon-Bolton has three children and divorced her ex-husband in 2010. Authorities do not believe that foul play is involved but as time goes on with no contact, they say that foul play may be a possibility. She has not been seen or heard from since contacting her sister and her case remains unsolved at this time.
