case details:

Armstead was last seen on July 28th, 2012, in Memphis, Tennessee, with her estranged husband, Tony Bledsoe. Armstead had been living in the Memphis area but had recently moved to St. Louis, Missouri to escape an abusive relationship while she filed for divorce. She left her three children in the care of family while she went through the proceedings of the divorce and for their safety. She had filed a restraining order against Bledsoe for her and her children and had traveled to Memphis to get her youngest son when she disappeared. Armstead's jaw was broken after being hit by her estranged husband. Her jaw was wired shut at the time of her disappearance.

Despite being in the process of moving to a different state, Armstead would call and check on her children daily, sometimes multiple times each day. When she did not do this, her family knew something was not right. They reported her missing on July 30th, 2012. The following day, July 31st, 2012, Armstead’s car was found burned near Little Simmons Road in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Armstead is originally from Crenshaw, Mississippi. She has not been seen or heard from since being seen in Memphis. Her case remains unsolved at this time.
