case details:

King walked off from a residential care home on 53rd Avenue in Gulfport, Mississippi on December 17th, 2001. He had recently moved into the care center after a two-month hospital stay after falling from his roof while trying to clean leaves off. He sustained brain damage and other injuries due to the fall. King was already considered disabled and was unable to work due to brain damage from a car accident when he was 18. 

Prior to falling from his roof, King was living at his residence near Fritz Creek. He had been living alone since his wife passed away two years earlier.
