Purvis’s friend was murdered a few weeks prior to her disappearance. Purvis was an eyewitness when the crime took place. The vehicle seen leaving the crime scene is the same vehicle Purvis was last seen leaving in. On December 3, 2020, Purvis called and begged her grandfather repeatedly to come and pick her up over the span of 15 minutes. When Purvis’s grandfather arrived at the location she was supposed to be at, her boyfriend said that Purvis told him to tell her grandfather that she had found another ride and would call him later. He tried calling her phone a few times and didn’t get an answer. After the third call, Purvis’s phone was turned off. She has not been seen or heard from since. Her case remains unsolved at this time.
