case details:
Nava was last seen at around 10:30 p.m. on february 28th, 2021, on J Sewell Cove in Ecru, Mississippi. At the time, he was driving a white Jeep. His family was concerned when he did not return home and reported Nava missing on March 1st, 2021. On Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, a woman who was traveling from Pontotoc, Mississippi to Memphis, Tennessee noticed Nava’s vehicle from missing posts she had seen online and contacted his family. Family confirmed that the Jeep belonged to Nava and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified. Through investigations, authorities later learned that Nava was seen at around 7 a.m. on March 1st, 2021, On Mary Lane, near I-22. He was knocking on doors seeking help. It is assumed this may have been due to his Jeep breaking down but this is not confirmed. He was last seen by residents in that area walking back toward his Jeep. Many in the Mary Lane area state that Nava had a Bible with him when he came to them requesting help. A pair of camouflage Crocs were found near the Jeep which match the description of the footwear Nava was last known to be wearing.
Over 300 volunteers, with the assistance of helicopters, searched the area extensively. On March 4th, 2021, a report was made by a witness who saw a person matching Nava’s description walking west of Coldwater Bridge on I-22. despite extensive media coverage, no new information has surfaced. Nava’s case remains unsolved at this time.
