Case details:
Taylor was last seen on March 10, 2019. He was traveling from Vernon, Alabama to Greenwood Springs, Mississippi to visit his daughter. He was driving a silver 2008 Saturn Astra. Around 9:44 p.m., Taylor called his daughter and stated that he was lost and that his car was stuck. His phone last pinged in the area of Wise Gap and Grubbs Springs Road. His car was found in a thick, wooded area off of Blair Cemetery Road. Search teams and helicopters were deployed but Taylor was not located. His daughter said that Taylor did have medical issues that may impair his judgment. Taylor’s case remained “cold” until August 31st, 2022, when a pastor, Eric Crisp, walked into the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and admitted to killing Taylor and disposing of his body. Crisp has been arrested for the crime; however, Taylor’s body has not been recovered at this time.
