case details:

Jones was last seen in Flowood, Mississippi on January 11, 2010. He left his residence in Starkville, Mississippi and traveled to visit with family in Tupelo, Mississippi. From there, He was en route to Jackson, Mississippi to visit friends and his Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Brothers. At the time, he was driving a blue 2002 Ford Expedition with Mississippi tag KTW 714.

Jones and his vehicle were seen on surveillance video at a Sprint Mart gas station in Flowood, Mississippi at 10:18 p.m. This was the last known sighting of Jones. He stopped to use the restroom at the Sprint Mart and left his cell phone behind in the restroom. A patron found his cell phone in the restroom and turned it in to the clerk at the gas station. The Sprint Mart is about 20 minutes from his intended destination. He never arrived that evening and has not been seen or heard from since. His family reported him missing nine days later to the Starkville police department.

At the time, Jones was pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering at Mississippi State University and was a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. Jones was living with a roommate on Collegeview Street in Starkville, Mississippi. No further information is available regarding Jones’s disappearance; however, both he and his vehicle remain missing at this time.
