Thornton was last seen on Burnt Bridge Road in central Jones County, Mississippi on August 19th, 2022. At the time he was seen walking; however, he had been driving a vehicle that belonged to someone else. That vehicle was found abandoned on a dead end road in the Burnt Bridge community on August 20th, 2022. When Thornton was last seen he was walking with his pit bull, “Big Head”. Neither Thornton nor his dog have been seen since. His case remains unsolved at this time.Investigating Agency Information:
