Williams left her two young sons in the care of her mother and began walking down Old U.S. 51. At the time, she was supposed to be en route to meet a friend for church service at the Sunshine Mountain Home for Handicapped People. The walk was just over 2 miles down the rural road she lived on. Williams never made it to the church service and has not been seen or heard from since. Williams remains missing at this time and her case is unsolved.
