Fayard was last seen in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi on October 14, 2006, when a police officer dropped him off near a trailer in the 3000 block of Washington Street. His actions from there are unknown but he has not been seen or heard from again. Family reported him missing shortly after noticing he had not returned.
Fayard lived with his mother at the time of his disappearance. He walked most places but it is said that the local police department would frequently give him rides and stop by his home to check on him.
